Small Group Custom Tour of the North Islands visiting Flat Island and Gabriel Island
Snorkeling at Coin de Mire and along the north coast of Mauritius
With Coin de Mire and the reef in front of Cap Malheureux we can offer you two excellent yet very different snorkeling spots.
This tour can be planned as half day trip (ca 3 hours) with only drinks and snacks.
If you tend to get sea sick or if sea conditions do not allow a venture into the open sea, we can adjust the tour and cruise along the Mauritian coasts close to the reef.
Sunset Cruise
Start the tour in the later afternoon, either at 16:30h or 17h (based on the Captain's decision), and sail along the north coast heading to one of the beautiful Mauritian sunsets.
Return to the beach of Pereybere at about 18:30h or 19h (depending on start time).
This trip is offered with drinks and snacks.

Things to consider
All times mentioned above are approximate and depend on the weather and tidal conditions.
Babacool is a sailing boat, but depending on sea and wind conditions it might be necessary to use the engine sometimes.
Snorkeling at Flat Island/Gabriel Island and Coin de Mire is a wonderful experience. Bear in mind that at times there is a strong current, therefore pay attention to the advice of the team. Some experience in swimming and good snorkeling equipment (available on the boat on demand) is recommended. The Babacool team will help you with their advice and assistance at all times. Please do not step on, touch or break any corals and leave shells in their environment for their well being.
Also, please keep in mind that we travel on the open sea. It is likely to have waves of 1m or higher. If you have trouble with sea sickness, keep the horizon in view or take medication in advance. Make sure you have a safe seat on board or ask for a life jacket, if you have any doubts.
And don't forget to bring sufficient sun protection and a towel.
Your reservation can only be postponed or canceled by us (even on short notice) due to bad weather and sea conditions.
